SClearence procedural process NSV -> FCO

    Hi,

Does anybody know how different is the FCO assessment compared to the NSV assessment? Although my NSV is set to Completed, I am told there is another hoop to jump through. Has anybody had experience on how long this last hurdle took them?

    Thanks!

Actually, no we don't. But we wouldn't/couldn't tell you anyway.

You can only get progress reports from the vetting agency. "Completed" means the vetting people have done their bit, it's now somewhere else in the approval chain. As I keep saying, it's a risk assessmement for a specific set of circumstances, so there are no absolute rules.
