Exclamation Will more jobs be outsourced to India after Rishi Sunak is the Chancellor?

Will more jobs be outsourced to India after Rishi Sunak has been appointed as new new Chancellor?

Sunak was also a director of investment firm Catamaran Ventures owned by his father-in-law Indian businessman N. R. Narayana Murthy (Co-founder of Infosys)!

Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy (born 20 August 1946) is an Indian billionaire businessman, and philanthropist. He is the co-founder of Infosys, and has been chairman, chief executive officer (CEO), president, and chief mentor, before retiring and taking the title chairman emeritus.[7][8][9]

He's also married to the daughter of the co-founder / co-owner (?) of Infosys.

It will be very interesting to see how the treasury will change moving from the son of a bus driver to the son of a billionaire.

I thought immigration was the job of the home secretary though? That said, Priti Patel also has strong Indian ties, and is often pictured shaking hands with Narendra Modi. That said, she is at the right of the Tory party, and has defended us strongly against Europeans. But will she defend us strongly against Indians? Not sure. Or maybe she doesnt care, and just goes along with big companies saying they have "skills shortages". Not sure.

IR35 is a successful lobbying project by large consultancies that didn't want to face millions of one man competitors who offer better services!
