    Contracts on Jobserve

Snowflake Data Architect - 6 month FTC..

Does this mean a data architect who can't take criticism, wants to erase history to suit their particular agenda and feels triggered, bullied and/or needs a safe space at least once a day?

Lucky they didn't call it Tulip Architecture. Oh how we would have laughed.

A few weeks ago I had a sponsored ad for Snowflake Inc. appear on my LinkedIn feed just under a story from the Irish Times with the headline 'Generation panic: why is there so much anxiety among millennials'... Spooky or what?

Don't have a clue about what? I'm not a technical expert but I was aware of the company and its product and I've worked on data warehousing /data lake related projects. I was commenting on the irony of an advert for a company called 'Snowflake' appearing above a story about millennials who some people refer to disparagingly as snowflakes.

It not ironic though; it's simply an example of a very bog-standard targeted advertising algorithm at work.

@edison Don't you just hate when someone with a sense of humour bypass tries to explain to you why your joke wasn't funny...
