    dev roles are starting to pick up a bit this week, but the rates are extremely low and often need a niche set of skills, to quote Taken.

    Quite a few need SC clearance because the office that issues that has shut up shop, so If you have that you are golden for the time being

      Supply and demand. If you're expecting to pay top end devs £500/day in a normal market, £600 in a supplier's market, you know you'll get away with £400/day in the current market. Pimps and contractors have to take the ups with the downs.
