    Agents Returning to Offices

Still finding no signs of any improvement in my specialisation, it has been dead right the way through.

Are we expecting a return to normal office work as from 4 July? I’m hoping this is going to generate a bit more momentum in the market. Also, there are a number of agents I have dealt with in the post for whom I only have a direct office number and they haven’t redirected to their home nos. Would be good to be able to speak to some of these directly , if nothing more than to form an impression in their memory for when/if something comes in.

Do those agents you want to talk to not have email?

Some offices are already saying they won't be back until the end of the year.

If agents aren't returning your attempts to contact, the reason is not because of their office location.
A lot of agents are furloughed for now, but even after that I don't see them getting the bryl cream out just yet. They'll be working from home or fired once the government cash dries up.

I”be worked in sales and being together with colleagues in an office does create a more connected joined up approach.

Sending the agents back into overcrowded office space is cheaper than making them redundant.

In this "new norm" (ugh), you could reasonably look at talking directly to ex-clients to see if they have anything going or indeed coming up and that you'd be happy to go FTC because it will save them a load of hassle re agency fees and dealings.
