It's like asking everyone what their favourite colour is, then mixing all those colours together. You'll get brown.....
But IR35 should be definable, there should be clear/concise rules for every situation, non of this "unable to determine" CEST gives me. Or the fact one IR35 specialist says outside and another says inside (both with all the facts), the client says inside, my accountant says outside, john down the street says inside, Mr blobby says outside.

What if my favourite colour is brown?...

Even tho they are blanket assigned everyone inside (like every other company I know of with every other contractor).

This statement from the IR35 section on this very web site we are on now says about IR35 "Each case is individual," (IR35 test l How will I know if I am caught by IR35 and what will it cost me?)

That's insane, its kind of like why people post on these forums post to try and get an idea of their individual case, its kind of like as time goes by other people might read this forum and have useful things to add.

Or maybe just "count" junkies can post pointless replies to "appear" smart, clever, witty and pointless.......

It is perfectly acceptable for an end client to decide they don't want the risk dealing with PSCs for staffing requirements.

As for that url from this website we are talking about post April 2021 here when the rules are completely different (and finally reflect how HMRC wanted them to be in the first place). It's the end client deciding how they view the work and it's the end client that takes the risk.

Do you think it's not audience that's the root of the problem?

Stop it, the lot of you.

The simple observable fact is that come April 2021, most companies will get rid of any HMRC/tax headaches by refusing to work with one-person Ltds. This is not illegal - it's business.

There will be tiny exceptions*, but for the bulk of today's contracting work this will be the case.

You may not like this, but not liking doesn't alter this in the future.

                    *If you are incredibly niche.

and there was me thinking that not liking meant it must be illegal...
