    I did 2 years at a media company. I did nothing, learned nothing and can't remember what the project was for. I did invoice like a king for those 2 years though.

      Interesting to a contractor is sometimes different from interesting in the normal sense.

                  I do like the way this thread subject is in the past tense.. as if it's all over, and we're having a retrospective on the best bits

                  Maybe one day "when I was a contractor, in the good old days..." will become the next "during the war..." preamble.

                    I went to a major international bank and convinced them that everything Accenture had done for them was cr@p (well it was). We threw out all their code/architecture and started again from scratch, building something that actually worked. Nice.

                    They must have wasted £hundreds of thousands on Accidenture and their team of highly experienced tea boys
