They pay on time if that's what you mean.

Nothing different about them, get your contract checked out and that's about it really.

    (Used to be Elan btw)

FTFY... You can't really blame the agent if he managed to take a more than his lions share.

I worked through them when they were Elan. Always paid on time, 3 weeks from (self-bill) invoice if I recall.

Yeah, I worked my last gig through them, back when they were called Elan (they only changed recently). They're OK. I've also had a permie post through them about 7 years ago (public sector), and had my time royally wasted by one of their other agents a few years before that on a banking contracting gig. So, like any large agency, there's a chance there'll be one or two agents there that wont last long and who may waste your time, but as an agency they're basically alright. They've got particularly good contacts in the public sector; if that's where the gig you're interested in is, you could do worse than have them put you forward.

                Thanks all

Hadn't made the connection of who they were and was more than a little put off with the client side of the site. as opposed to the contractor side.

They will take the piss on margin. Contacted me about a role recently, said client would only pay 300 a day. Funny I said, just got a call 30 minutes ago by another agent and they stated 325 off the bat for the same job.

He said 'oh well, I'll try and match that rate but cant guarantee it.' I said dont bother cos Im not looking but would have gone with t'other agent if I was.
