A CV for my new Ltd Company - can I just re-use my old one?

I'm a First Timer would-be Contractor, looking to re-pitch their Permie CV.

Is there such thing as a Ltd Company CV?

I've seen suggestions that adding your company name, address and details (including a logo) to the header of the CV is enough.

However I am concerned about the potential IR35 implications of applying for Contract roles as an individual rather than a Ltd.

I'm worried that the CV would be about me as an individual rather than my Company.

I would be a PSC.

You need to sell yourself, not your company. Put all your projects on your CV instead of employments.

You create a contractor CV with your company details on top, as you mentioned in your post.

Do a search, google 'CV site:forums.contractoruk.com' and see what turns up.

And remember, your prospective clients don't much care about your career prospects or the various soft skills you may have, nor how you will beneft their organisation long term or what you like to do when you're not working. As a contractor they are only interested in what benefits you have acheived and/or delivered and what you bring to thier company in relation to their current requirement.

Be prepared to re-write and re-focus it at regular intervals as well...

Man, if you are struggling with the concepts of a CV then contracting is going to be a tough world. I see where you are coming from but what you are thinking is a portfolio of services you can offer your client like the big boys do. A grand idea but I think you need to go back to basics. Contracting isn't as business like as you may think unfortunately. Anyway, what the others said but here is the definition of Curriculum_vitae
