    Not for me, I am not putting my CV up on the web, I dont want any of my details showing. I rather have more control over my details, well as much a possible

        A website can be a good showcase for your knowledge of usage of latest technology, ie phone apps, social media.

        If your CV details appear in Google listings, highlight your SEO capabilities.

        But, generally, it's a waste of time, unless your linking it to LinkedIn.
