Agent got me a gig, actually a half decent agent. Site visits and phone calls keeping me in loop very experienced. Agent gets stiffed by her company. Don’t know full details but assume it was bad and she left.

New pimp is a bit pants, no contact with me or client AFAIK. Anyway it’s extension time, 6 months on the table. I have the bright idea of sending my old pimp a mail asking her what my rate was, so I was in strong position to bargain with my new Agent.

Her Linkedin mail is auto-forwarded to new agent.

I know a previous pinmp who was a nice guy told me this. That some agencies when people leave somehow force them not to take their linked-in profile with them.

Dunno how they can do this but they do. This fella ended up using a different surname for a few months on linked in because of this.

Wondering now whether half the surnames on linked in are made up now?

A lot of agents have in their personal employment contracts that their LinkedIn contacts are the intellectual property of the agency, not the agent. The agents with a bit of nouse about them will have two accounts, one that says Agent (Agency) and another that's just Agent which is his personal property, never logged into at work and strictly kept to themselves. That way when they jump ship they leave the old account and set up a new one at their new brothel.

That's just not true. Just because it doesn't get to court doesn't mean the restraint is ignored. The threat of going to court is more than enough in most cases makes it very relevant.
