Good, glad you support this: Justice and Security Act 2013
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

My vacuum cleaner works using 560v - I'll be happy with 900v when it eventually conks out. I don't know what you're all whinging about.

Mine's only 600v and it works a treat although its getting a bit worn so a new one is on the cards, probably a bagless one though

Seriously? 560v??? sounds more like Frankenstein's monster than a vacuum cleaner! Do you have it plugged directly into an overhead pylon?

A couple of years ago I was looking for a low consumption (c 100W) vacuum cleaner for a boat (had to run of the 12v batteries upped to 240v via an inverter, so 1000w takes roughly 80 amps which is a hell of a wallop), and Euro loonies or not, I was gobsmacked to see that the average was 2000W, I think this is just willy-waving by the manufacturers, as others have said you don't need that much power to create a little breeze that picks up dust!
