"Interesting". The UK produces 850k barrels per day against Norways 1900k BPD.

Must all be the fault of the English.

I can't see anything on those links probably due to ClientCo blocking but it seems to be comparing Scotland as part of the UK against Norway and not as an independent nation.

Without Scotland the £ will plunge? Dream on.

That 'panic' on Monday in the markets knocked 5% of the value. Its hardly a slump is it?

Gordon Brown managed to knock off 25% and we survived that.

Also, if Orkney and Shetland don't leave with Scotland, wouldn't rUK retain some of it? Think it's all up in the air for now.

Yes, because you will have £1.4 Trillion debt and no oil income to service it

Eh? Big grin here. Hoping for the good news in 9 days time.

I hear Nigel Farage is on his way to Edinburgh to issue a plea for the Scots to vote no.

              That'll do the trick

Orkney and Sheland are in the referendum to be in or out the UK. It's not a separate referendum for them.

                  Probably hit rUK as well.

There's absolutely no certainty at all on Scotland remaining in the EU simply because countries like Spain and one or two others are worried about splits in their own countries, so would slap them down.
There are lots of countries in Europe who are in the EU who have separatist movements - France, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Finland.....
