    Weird Linkedin request

I'm going to view a house at the weekend and I got a connection request on Linkedin from the guy who's selling the house.

He's in a completely different industry to me so there's no professional reason to send me an invite.

I can understand him having a 'nosey' at my profile, probably to see if I'm likely to be able to afford his house. But sending an invite is a bit weird. Isn't it?

Very soon, he will want you to "recommend him" as this " is very good for his business" ... been there, NOT done that as LinkedIn is for my professional matters only not for my real estate affairs.

People are using LinkedIn more and more like Facebook.

I wonder if 10% of the Linked in Accounts are for dogs - as is apparently the case with Facebook....

Ah right, I was waffling on about Matchmakers.
