Default company or role, kudos on CV?

    Hi,

been offered 2 roles and cant decide which one to take

1 - Junior Mgt "easy" role with well known global investment bank
2 - Senior Mgt "challenging" role with uk insurance provider

Junior Mgt role is step back on CV but never worked in banking/finance sector

    both roughly same rate/Ts&Cs

question is if you're only as good as your last gig, which one is best?

    cheers

I'd say (1) definitely, if you want to get into banking & finance, which is where our^D^D^D (sorry, ignore that slip) _the_ loot is.

If you want to work in banking, then the first one.

If you want an easier gig, the first one.

If you want more of a challenge, the second one.

I'd probably take the second, as I'd worry about getting bored if I took the first one.

Take the first, and put it on your CV as the second.
