I thought we were talking about GP's

As I said you can have BUPA which covers you for specialists.

Perhaps you should consult a specialist that switch your two orifices to back where they should be.

You're clearly confused, but that's easy for someone of your calibre.
How do you think you'd get to see your BUPA specialist?
Do you think you'd call him/her up directly?
No, you'd have to wait a week to see your NHS GP first so they could refer you.
Hence my post much earlier, which you clearly did not understand, since you're thick, about private GP services

FFS don't know why I bother with you morons.
    Are you a loser?
Didn't do too well at school?
Can't make it in the most dynamic economy in Europe?
    No good with women?

It already has. The difference being that the administrators who would normally work for agencies have joined the in house teams. Some have been outsourced to the likes of Alex Mann. It doesn't really matter but it is always going to be the same people sitting in the middle.

The only difference being now is that there is no longer any money in it for us more "discerning" pimps

I see my GP either same day or next day, depending on how urgent it is.
Then again, I don't live in hyperbolic fantasy land.

For the absence of confusion in the feebleminded

My point is that in the UK it is impossible to have a completely private service as I'd like to do, since your NHS GP is the gatekeeper even for private services.
There may be exceptions for that depending on the condition, but for chronic conditions it's almost certainly the case.
There is a market for private GPs, who are stable and can hold your records - currently there are private GP practices like Medicentre, but their staff turnover is high and the GPs are often foreign.
Reason for this is GPs get paid too much on the NHS.

And you don't have the imagination to think it might be different in other parts of the country? What are you, five years old?
A week's wait is normal in many areas now.

            Actually I'm probably being optimistic

Yes, now I see the real reason why this market is going to the dogs or bobs

Surely some statistics are available on wait times, other than GPs saying "Yeah, it's over a week, and it's gonna get worse unless you give us even more money"?

Don't you understand how surveys completed by interested parties may not be impartial? What are you, five years old?

It's about a week where I live in Surrey, a large part of the population being wealthy, old, geriatric types.
                    And clearly that's not unusual.
I'm sure many of them would go private if there was such a thing as a stable private GP service.

only seems to have one orifice, (s)he is using the lower one for both purposes.
