I only house share when I need to be at a client's 5 days a week (this has only happened once). Otherwise I prefer hotels.

Started my current contract in a professional house share and it was great at first.

But the constant arguing about washing up and who's turn it was to buy bin bags did my head in.

I ended up giving notice and using hotels.

I'm currently working away from home 5 days a week and managed to get a good deal at the local Novatel, supposed to be £150-£200 a night +internet (10 for 24 hours), +parking (£11 for 24 hours) but managed to get a deal of £95 per night all in.

I work away all the time and i have 2 rules when looking for somewhere to stay.
I DON'T share a bathroom. and i must be able to walk to the office in under 50mins
Have been in London for 18 months, rented for 12 and am currently staying in various hotels. It stops me getting bored.
I find that I get into a rut if I stay in the same place all the time.
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

I once house shared with a woman whose husband is usually away during the week.

MF stopped talking to me ever since

Motorhome: harder to steal because it has vehicle security. Also a certain demographic only use caravans and so don't have the same incentive to steal motorhomes.
