          She didn't face the consequence of her crimes, that is a coward. As for moral fibre, that ship sailed a long time ago!

                You think being labelled as a coward really means much in comparison to torturing her own child to death? Or that her suffering in any way atones for what she'd done?

                It's a horrible mess with no glimmers of anything good however things had gone IMO.

                  There's no "suffering" in a modern prison, no way for any type of atonement to be brought about. The only positives to the whole disaster are that she's been removed from the gene pool and that the country no longer has to pay to keep her alive.

                    Suffering is just as much emotional and psychological as it is physical, and that's even before you factor in how keen criminals are on child-abusers.
