Depends what you define tax as

Anyone earning NMW won't be paying income tax as they moved the personal allowance upwards to take them out of the income tax bracket

They will not be able to avoid VAT on everyone though, so in that sense they ARE tax payers
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

      This isn't true.

a)This WILL be done, it hasn't been that way historically
b)This is based on people working 30 (IIRC) hours per week. Not 35, 37, 40, or 60

If you want what WILL be done, then historically any tax credits will more than off set any income tax

We pay them to go to work and subsidise corporations to pay low wages

they may pay tax now, but frequently they are net claimants, so what little tax they do pay is repaid in benefits.

To summarise, highly skilled and well educated migrants who come here to fill well identified skills shortages are welcome. This is the Australian type system where you get points for education, English ability, professional qualifications and working experience. You are also background checked as best as possible for criminal record, you need professional references and you undergo health checks and tests to prevent known issues. All good, even if said persons are coming to take IT jobs.

What we don't need is zero skilled, uneducated, criminal, long term sick people here. We already have lots of them, and the ones we already have should be encouraged to contribute to society and pay more tax than they take from the system.

At the moment we have economic and health migrants coming for a free ride. No checks, no barriers just a complete uncontrolled mass free for all.

And you and I are paying for it, hence the need to screw contractors into the ground financially. This is what your loss of expenses and increased company taxes is paying for.

                    Vote LibLabCon, get screwed.
