    Default First Time Contractor

    Hi All,
Just thought I'd introduce myself to the wider audience and say "hello". Hello.

Been in the industry for 15 years, but this is my first venture into contracting. After a few months of my notice getting in the way, I boldly handed in said notice and promptly pooped myself at the prospect of not getting a contract in time and having to busk to feed the family. Turns out I didn't need to worry and landed a contract in a week. Phew! Looking forward to all the new adventures I'm about to have, and if any one has 'sensible' advice, I'd love to hear it. OK .. you can give silly advice as well if you like!

    Chris.

Of course he has. What a stupid question.

Ignore him Chris and tell us about your favourite gladiator film.

And any unusual situations you have faced when bleeding radiators, in not more than 200 words.

In particular, do you bleed your radiators from the nipple?

reminded me of a wonderful, now sadly deceased, housemaster at my boarding school in 1980, who I now realise took mischievous pleasure in telling his teenage, rather chilly, charges that he’d need to “bleed the radiator…” (pause for dramatic effect) “…from the nipple”.

Have you ever been up the OXO tower?
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]
