I used to play a lot of figures games as a lad, then progressed onto Boardgames and now am heavily into computer games.
I think I am right in saying that all the best games have been developed by the Germans, Brits and the Yanks.

Xmas was mainly Exploding Kittens and Cards Against Humanity so yup games are still a thing

Yesterday I visited the Game On 2.0 exhibition in Newcastle. It was the last day, now it is packing up and going to Oslo. Claimed to be the largest collection of playable video games in the wold, they had every console imaginable, handhelds, home computers, arcade machines, and, behind a rope, some of the first commercially built arcade machines (spacewar) - and a pdp 1 on which he games were developed.

The most popular machines seemed to be Star Wars, Defender, Centipede, Missile Command and Gauntlet. I played an Apple 1 game (breakout), which was surprisingly good, and in colour. Programmed by the Woz according to the credits. There was a BBC B which strangely was not running Elite, but another game.

Recommended. Take your Halo playing kids along and thrash them at Asteroids. Repeatedly.

Same here, but I still play figure & board games.
