The rise in homophobia concides with the spread of Islam in the UK, the two are closely linked as the cultural traditions of child rape becoming common in the UK as in Rotherham, and the introductrion of electoral malpractice as in the Muslim ward of Tower Hamlets

I don't think having a general live-and-let-live attitude towards the cultural practices of others (where they don't infringe on the well-being of other people, natch) means defending anything about those practices.

And I assume you're either totally ignorant about the tenants of Islam, or being deliberately obtuse if you're saying that anything you've just posted is actually covered by the faith. The repressive governments in Saudi Arabia and Iran or extremists are NOT the definitive take on Islam.

I'd suggest visiting a mosque and asking for an educational tour, but I rather doubt you have an open mind about such things. So carry on ranting if it makes you happy.
