Do love the fact that late 1990s/early to 2000s motors are just old cars and therefore cheap. I've got my eye on this S430 Merc at £4K on eBay:

I can see the attraction of an old Jag, Ferrari or Alfa, but an old Ford Escort or such like just makes you look like the poorest council estate resident in the UK.Comment

If I had a big barn to store them, then for a months pay each, you can get a 944 S2, BMW 8 Series, VW Corrado, Jag XJS and a MK1 MR2.
Leave them for about 10 years and resell.Comment

I recently saw a sierra rs500 cosworth advertised for 90k
Rather than that I'd save 30k and buy this
