Smith believes we were correct to trust the electorate in the referendum but thinks we should trust them again in a further referendum to be sure. Fortunately we will be long gone by then.
He also wants to re-introduce the 50p tax bracket immediately and possibly higher later. He calls this 'progressive'. It sounds pretty 'regressive' to me. Like back to the 70s.
