    How we make the trains so crap in uk never ceases to amaze me. In the winter you freeze your nuts off because either they dont turn the heating on or its broken (and they dont admit it). In the summer, same in reverse.
    Inter carriage area with the windows down every 5 minutes does it for me.

      I have a choice with two train companies running a train every hour (i.e. 30 mins between them).

      The newer, supposedly AC train with no windows. But then you're screwed if like last night they didnt appear to have it turned up high enough.

      The older opening windows type. You still get the old biddies who moan and shut the windows because "its a bit drafty in here"
