At least all these Rounds give the Brexiters some breathing space to think of sound policy and alternatively to realise the errors of the ways and change their minds and quietly forget that Brexit thing ever happened and that they were in any way associated with it

Sturgeon is moaning about the devolved governments not getting a say, yapping on about a partnership of equals.

What she has apparently forgotten is that Scotland already has ~50 MPs in parliament - why should Scotland be overrepresented by both the Scottish MPs having their vote and then the Scottish Parliament having another vote. Scotland effectively already has its say.

UK parliament gets to decide on issues which affect the fabric of the UK. Sounds right. Withdrawing from the EU is such an issue. Indeed, whether we have a future Scottish referendum also lies solely with the UK government. There will be no such referendum before Brexit is completed. Scotland would not be a member of the EU if it voted to leave the UK (which it probably wouldn't). Fact.

Of course, scooterscot et al start spouting post truth alternative facts about the will of the majority of Scottish people, forgetting that the will of the majority of Scottish people was to remain in the UK. Leaving the UK would leave Scotland an isolated stub, without even WTO membership to fall back on.
