So they lied more than once:

Brexit Whitepaper telling us what we already knew:
“The sovereignty of Parliament is a fundamental principle of the UK constitution. Whilst Parliament has remained sovereign throughout our membership of the EU, it has not always felt like that.”

    Boris the Plonker:
"Sometimes the public can see all too plainly the impotence of their own elected politicians – as with immigration. That enrages them; not so much the numbers as the lack of control. That is what we mean by loss of sovereignty – the inability of people to kick out, at elections, the men and women who control their lives"
    Gove the ******:
"No, absolutely not. The overwhelming reason was sovereignty."
Hannan, Green and Minford in Murdoch rag The Sun:
"Britain has lost its sovereignty to the EU.
"The EU aims to become a country called Europe
"Sovereignty is something we haven’t heard much about during this campaign.
"The referendum has mainly been fought on immigration and the economy.
"But both are really about sovereignty. In other words, both are really about who gets to decide."
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

For me, immigration is in the mix, it's not THE reason to leave, but it is A reason.

Certainly campaigners canvassing on the street were being told that immigration was THE issue. So for many it is, and which is why it is a red line.

For many years (New Labour political correctness) you could not even mention immigration for fear of being branded a racist.

So for many years, it had been simmering as an issue not getting vented, but coming to the boil.

Like a weak husband that takes 20 years of abuse from the wife and one day suddenly lets rip that he hates the witch and wants a divorce.

It stills means that it will happen and that something at least is being done to control immigration rather than the hollow promises of getting it down to tens of thousands.

The EU is going to have to reform with the likes of Geert Wilders and Marine Le Penn.

Such plutocratic hubris will be the EU's demise. A shame, but there you go.

                  "Could", "suggests", etc.

Nowhere near "will happen". You're still being fooled and swallowing the lies. Until May introduces legislation restricting non-EU immigration (7 years and counting since she started in the Home Office and has had the opportunity to do so), she's lying to you.

Looks like Article 50 will fire a starting gun

                    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...e-of-emergency

As the race to raid Britain’s banking talent heats up, Frankfurt’s lobby group said it expects to draw as many as 10,000 finance jobs from London over the next five years.

It anticipates the exodus beginning imminently, Hubertus Vath of Frankfurt Main Finance said on Thursday at a London conference organized by City and Financial.
Separately, Spain’s securities regulator said it plans to increase its workforce by about 15 percent as part of its plan to cope with potential demand from investment firms after Brexit. Ireland’s central bank said it is hiring “immediately’’ to quicken authorizations for firms wanting to work there.
