    Default Anyone been to Tokyo?

Visiting some friends in a few weeks. They'll work during the day but join us in the evenings.

Any suggestions or general tips - we'll be based about an hour from central Tokyo?

If visiting Japan I'd prefer the North Island, Hokkaido, as there is more nice scenery and not just a mass of concrete like the vast metropolis that stretches for hundreds of miles in every direction round Tokyo (what Southern England will be like in thirty years at the present rate of uncontrolled immigration!). Wouldn't want to go to Hokkaido in winter though, as it's pretty nippy!

The advice should be updated every hour to 'even more dosh'.
“We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that. Or perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers. And we've barely begun. And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us.”
