Uk to lose 10,000 banking jobs

Who says so? Some pro-Tory, anti EU hardliners?

Or Bruegel, a Brussels think tank with close links to the EU.

Hardly the 70,000 to 230,000 promised, is it?

Exactly. How many times do we see umpty thousand redundancies announced by Barclays, RBS, Lloyds, HSBC et al anyway?

Tens of thousands have gone from Canary Wharf in the last year anyway, mostly to newly created jobs in Poland.

        The UK has bank jobs?

"I'm calling you about the accident you had 6 months ago?"

I would class those in the 20,000 finance jobs we will lose. Consultants.

Anyway, if we don't have banking jobs then how do you justify the 70,000 to 230,000 you Remnants have been crowing about?

Hundreds of thousands have gone offshore over the last 20 years.

Exactly this. UK investment banking is a shell of what it was. Brexit has nothing to do with it.

                    1 here.

Still being paid a decent rate to do whatever I want and a further extension has been mooted to do more of the same
