But of course that would be unreasonable.

If you read the article they make a number of very sensible recommendations.
How about on the spot fines - I'm sure the French do something like that....

    far too sensible.

Or not allowing them back in if they have been caught and not paid.

The UK haulage industry is being undercut by foreign registered vehicles which means a tax loss.
The LHD vehicles are 3.4 times more likely to be in accident.
We have no way to regulate the drivers.

How about banning mothers from driving monster trucks to take their precious spawn to the local school?
Make the kids walk or ride a bike.

    1. Some local schools aren't that local e.g. 5 miles away
    2. All that would happen which has happened in my area due to complaints from residents is that parents would park around the corner from the school.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

not unreasonable in many cases. I would make 100 yards around schools a no parking zone and have drop off traffic warden Maybe enable the teachers or caretakers.

You don't need a Chelsea tractor to make the world dangerous around schools. Mercedes & Fiestas can be just as bad.

However many parents drop the kids off at school on the way to work.
