    Things to do in Guernsey

Seems like I'm going to be here weekly for the next month.

What is there to do? Recommendations?

You'll be alright for a bit of udder action...

Although you sure you weren't already there...

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I was in St Peter Port for 6 months on a gig a few years back.

Loved the place. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Plenty of places to eat and drink. One of my favourites was Crabby Jacks in Vazon Bay.

Herme is a 30 minute boat ride and Sark can be reached in just under an hour. Your can also fly to Alderney in little under 15 minutes.

If you're flying in every week, be prepared to spend a few hours in Dinard waiting for the weather to clear.

Oh, make sure you try a bean jar, a Guernsey speciality. It's a stew served in a jar and back in the days before everyone had ovens, they would take their bean jars to the local bakery where the Baker would put them in the oven at the same time the bread was baking and hey presto!

Take the ferry over to Sark one time.

Going to fly a kite. It's fecking windy, so doubt I'll get off later.

The underground hospital is worth a visit if I recall, and, yes, visit Alderney and Sark. St Peter Port is very quaint though, nice place to spend a bit of time.

OTOH I usually just fill the yacht with cheap diesel and sail the **** out of there.
