China gloats over fake Tower Bridge with FOUR turrets | Daily Mail Online

'Our bridge is bigger than yours!' China gloats over its fake Tower Bridge with FOUR turrets
Suzhou, located west of Shanghai, boasts a version of London's Tower Bridge which is double the size
The knock-off, built in 2010, apparently cost 80 million yuan (£9.4 million) to complete
While many locals have given the colossal structure a thumbs up, others are said to be 'ashamed' of it

They can't put anything bigger than a rubber duck under it. What a waste of money.

If it was made with Chinese steel, there's a reason they daren't move it.

Doesnt do much for their reputation as a country that copies rather than invents.

              FTFY.

As a matter of interest why would anyone bother patenting anything these days, as even if you have a watertight case it will still cost many £100,000's to fight it?

Wonder what the royalties for something like multi-valve engines would be?

Lets go back to Victorian times when there was loads of cheap labour and the vast majority lived in poverty.

Hang on, we are heading that way...
