He was the first MP I voted for.
I remember going to my little booth expecting the normal Tory, Lib Dem etc candidates.
Instead when I looked at the paper there was Kaufman then several extremely left wing e.g. Socialist Workers Party, Communist Party of Great Britain and extremely right wing parties e.g. BNP.
So I cast my vote for him as he seemed the only sane choice.
