Fecks sake - it's like National Insurance #3 - by 2019 the combined rate will be 7% within 2 years.

So, combined tax take will now be:

    45% (income tax) + 2% (employee NIC) + 13.8% (employer NIC) + 3%+4% (new NICs) = 68%!

And that does not factor in loss of tax free allowance.

Jeez, where do we start? Almost every figure you quote is wrong or massively exaggerated (e.g. the 45% rate doesn't kick in until you earn (or declare ) over £150k.)
    Go to https://listentotaxman.com/
    and put your numbers in.

If MF did need a test network, trust me, I'd be the very last person on the planet he'd be contacting...

You are free to leave whenever you wish. Your business could be operated from almost anywhere in the World, choosing Brum in post Brexit Tory Britain seems like a bad idea.

Cyprus is geared up for offshore low(ish) tax take, and has a very strong Russian presence too.

In the olden days employers took their responsibilities to their employees seriously and as a result had a workforce they could rely on for their working lives.

If you don't want your employees to stick around then either put them all on zero hours contracts, make them self-employed or bugger off to another country.
