Samuel L. Jackson slams Brits playing African-Americans | Daily Mail Online

Samuel L. Jackson criticizes British actors playing African-Americans in films while citing Get Out as example
    Hardly helping the cause

Jackson while airing his grievance also cited British actor David Oyelowo, 40, who played Martin Luther King Jr. in the 2014 biopic Selma.

'A brother from America could have been in that movie that would have had a different idea about how that works, how King thinks or how King felt,' Jackson said.

Jackson also said that British actors are cheaper 'than us' and are considered better trained than American actors

From Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins through Mel Gibson* in Braveheart to Renee Zelweger in Bridget Jones - they've never had a problem when it's the other way round.
