Look at the US in its robber baron, gangster capitalism days (turn of the 20th century) - arguably its most corrupt time and yet the time it set the basis of future prosperity.
JP Morgan was as corrupt as they come.
Well good luck on allowing corruption . Apparently Singapore is one of the least corrupt countries in the world and economists label it as one of the reasons of their success.
On the other extreme - Ukraine, where any funds put to it just disapear. Janukowich robbed country of their entire wealth, literally trucks of money was leaving the country to Russia before crimea annexation. So yeah , corruption can be bad.

That can really be down to their population growth, but when per head it's still about 5% of ours it not exactly a productive nation.
They're on an upward trajectory, we're going down. That gap will increase after Brexit.

Got a bit better. Up to 6-6.5 k in 30 mins. But it's harder as I get into middle age.
Still playing squash twice a week though.

The "Disunited Kingdom" and Trump's antics have put the Europeans off populism.

If nothing else the UK is serving as a great example of how to f*** up your country.

              I'm alright Jack

Intelligent people change their mind if the evidence doesn't back up their beliefs, but the number of intelligent people is low. The vast majority make up their mind first, then ignore evidence that conflicts with their opinion.

I adore strong leadership, and trump knows what he wants and doesn't look to please everyone. Thats what we need. We should dismiss the cry of brexiters and stay in EU influencing reforms.
