Exactly. Now best to quit while you are ahead. Don't go making yourself look foolish again.

Except they generally don't, or else they could have done that years ago. And very few of the EU alternatives will be "cheaper" when all factors are weighed up.

Well you bonehead they didn't move years ago because wages didn't go up. There was plenty of cheap labour here.
FFS you hit all the branches of the stupid tree when you fell out of it didn't you?

When all the factors are weighed up post Brexit (high costs here, high taxes, access to markets) it will be a no-brainer to move.
And as those of us in the know try to get into your thick noggins on the other thread, it's already begining to happen.

Yep no one offshored to India, Malaysia, Mexico, Thailand etc. 20 years ago.

No one moved to Eastern Europe & Africa 10 years ago.

Much of the "cheap labour" that was here came from the poorer parts of the EU.

Guess who they will be employing if they move elsewhere? The same "cheap labour" that has left here to return home, and who are not going to accept any real drop in wages.
Factor in all the costs of moving and it makes no sense.

          Elementary.
