              You have to drive through La Linear (sp) which is an absolute armpit, then cross a border (not so straight forwards even in EU) walk across a runway, then it's cramped and quirky. A bit British a bit Spanish, very military. There isn't much there, it's not very pretty, and all in all its just a huge oddity.

              Having stood at the top it's not as geographically significant as people make out. It's just very very odd. Would I live there? No way!
