Default Finding an experienced iOS developer (perm)

Is it actually possible to find an iOS developer these days?

Have smashed through my linkedIn contacts, get 2 agents on the case and will consider all levels of experience for a pretty standard salary. The project is one that anybody would want on their CV too.

As well as the obvious "benefit" of working with such a skilled technician as you of course

    A dream project hey?

Surely it's a job they want on their CV not a project. The fact you mention a project rather than a long term job/career might be putting the permies off?

It's definitely a long-term career prospect. It just happens that the next project would be awesome on anybody's CV.

It's in line with the market and we will consider somebody more junior too. Really not asking for the world here.

So if we drop our expectations from a senior mobile developer (for which we have several) and accept somebody junior-mid on the same salary, that wouldn't be in line with market expectations? I actually opened up the role to say quote salary expectations!
