Decluttering is good for the spirit - it's very liberating and gets you back oodles of space.

I've become a convert. My last shelf of technical books is on the way out. Heart-breaking because some are brand new never opened the front cover. But today I put 3 bookcases up-for-sale having ditched no end of books and DVDs.

Got rid of tons of wires, cables, HDDs, adapters and the like too. I can no longer connect an IDE HDD drive to my computer or read 5.25" floppies or use a parallel printer.

    But it feels really good

have you got any good books on ETL? 3 days to load 0.5 million records into Oracle. and they think that is good. Good job they are ETL experts capable of updation.

I could put them into access in 60 minutes, most of that drinking tea.

Not really. If I wanted advice on that kind of thing I'd seek the counsel of a gender-confused socialist oddball.
