    Default Greggs

Don't they do Corned Beef pasties down south? I'm in Croydon this week.

And I've not seen a meat and potato pie in Greggs for ages...

Never heard of corned beef pasties.

Also if you move a few miles from Croydon you get the pasty shops that pretend to be Cornish.

They do first rate Cornish pasties in Sedgemoor Services on the southbound M5. But it's been several months since I've dropped by because the adjoining petrol station has been out of action for refurbishment, new petrol tanks apparently.

It completely defies the imagination how replacing a few pipes and tanks can take the best part of a year, which is how long the closure is approaching now.

In China they could have built a whole new empty city, with block after block of skyscrapers, in that time!

That is the only reason to go to Croydon.

Though you can go to Ikea on the tram.
