    and at last, an image of what the seedlings are supposed to look like, so I can distinguish these from the weeds:

      You can make it with spuds though, and lots of other things. Maybe I can make it from compost?

          Glad you've been doing your homework.

          My buddleia is white though I was tempted by the tri-colour variety.
