Default How much do you value being British?

I mean really, in GBP terms.
With the uncertainty of Brexit, I am faced with a dillemma, to buy protection from a certain racket or not.
The protection is called UK citizenship and guarantees you the right to work in the UK in two years time.
It currently costs around 3000GBP and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

    What does the collective think?
Is it worth spending 3 grand just to insure oneself?
The odds of UK outright banning EU workers are slim, but so was brexit.
In such a scenario, however, I see a death spiral where there may be work initially, after the ban and then a long steady decline after that.
Maybe all that I will be buying is an admission ticket to a dwindling economy, where contracts will be scarce and lowly paid?

Not worth anything you might as well go home.

Oh sorry you came over here to make more money because the opportunities are rubbish at home & £3k is a drop in the ocean. Your call...

More than you can possibly imagine.
Hmm. I'm beginning to suspect that you need to find all the packing the computer came in...

I will be paying a similar amount for citizenship of a country that is remaining in the EU.

Swiss citizenship is slightly cheaper. But you don't get the money back if they reject you - and it's harder to get than in most EU countries.
