Surely it would be the one who came second in the last leadership election? Buggery whatsits, that was Andrea Leadsom

Most probably resigning. WHo'd want to go down in history as being responsible for the breakup of the UK and its economic suicide?
Something which is obvious to all but the most blinkered.
      Hard Brexit now!

Nah, there is procedure for that and it's not an announcement from the PM.

Hmm, no No. 10 badge on the lecturn suggests a party political statement (supports the GE theory perhaps )...

Who is Deputy PM? Does anybody know?

Assuming it's not on health grounds, even if she didn't have the confidence of her party would she really call another leadership contest so soon? Doesn't seem likely.

I'd say that was more indicative of a personal statement than a political one.

                Its a General Election announcement.

Get in Corbyn!!! Its going to be a massive landslide victory for Labour. May just could not handle the opposition.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !

Crap, if it's a GE, I'm not looking forward to that contractor-friendly manifesto
