    Nope.

Not religious at all - no implication of a requirement of faith or need to worship a deity.

How does anyone know that when you die, in reality you just see a 'game over' screen and then go play on a different game.

Was not saying it is what happens but no one can confirm it does not.

But not religious - the only fact is we do not know what if anything happens when someone dies - all we can say that is in this reality they cease to exist as a conscious entity.

You do the same thing every day.
Taxes, elections, breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening telly.

      It's a bad one.

If the universe is unlimited, billions of so called life forms on every planet, then really does Sunday night consist of having to watch the Eastenders Omnibus.

      Nah. This ain't real.
But, surely you can add a little variety just to spice it up a little?

Once you study physics at the sub atomic level ie quantum mechanics and entropy, it is blatantly obvious that when you are dead; that’s it. Game over.

Elon Musk has said that there's a one in two billion chance we are NOT living in a simulation.

I'd say that they cease to exist as the entity they had appeared to be.
That then allows for religion (and science) to be open to what happens next.

...it's also what a true consultant would say (or a researcher) - we need to do more (billable) work on it to see if we can find out an answer.

Old Greg you are a highly intelligent lifeform who has been trapped inside a virtual model of a limp wristed, feeble IT Contractor as part of an experiment to see if you can escape from this alternative reality. Your true self is unaware of what has happened.

                    Do you

a)Look at the world around you & realise this is all a game and you will only escape this alternative reality when you end the reality early?
                    b) Have no idea whatsover, go to work each day, eat chips & talk crap to anyone who will listen until the reality runs out?
c)Create an alternative reality yourself where you are the prostitute loving transexual wife of a Northern IT Contractor who posts tulipe on a website?

                    What choice would you make?
What happens in General, stays in General.
