    BBQ Time

I think I'm going to finish early and have a BBQ.

Anyone have any GOOD alternatives to Big Green Egg 390011 100 Percent Natural Oak And Hickory Lump Charcoal - they have just hiked the prices up. But the food does taste better.

Fancy doing a fish dish, just need some ideas?

        BBQ or barbecue?

Working at home today, so might just take the kids to the beach later with a disposable barbecue and stick a few sausages and halloumi on - nothing fancy.

Thanks. I thought there was a difference between grilling (no lid - what we normally call barbecue), barbecue (lid), and BBQ (some big American thing with a hole in the ground and a whole pig being rotated. But buggered if I can find it so maybe I dreamt it.

Got some from Waitrose, right or wrongly I cleaned and boned them before putting them on the fire.

Boning raw sardines sounds like hard work. I've always done them cleaned but with the bone still in.
