    I ended up going for the Dell XPS 15 with 2 years extended warranty and accidental cover + accessories.

    They are running a special offer at the moment of 12% off. So I got the top end XPS (not the 4k one because I don't see the point) all in for £1500.

          Got the same one 32G Mem / 1TB SSD. Great laptop, unfortunately doesn't work too well when you pour coffee in the vents at the back. Fortunately house insurance paid out.
