    Theresa's terror network

So what's going on with the inquiry into foreign funding of extremism?

    http://www.theguardian.com/politics/...meron-lib-dems

Looks like there's a clear choice between a leader who cosies up to the Saudis and slashes police funding and one who has taken tea with Sinn Féin and called Hamas and Hezbollah 'friends'.

The Mash has it right again.

A HUNG parliament in which no politician can achieve any of their policy goals is what Britain is really keeping its fingers crossed for right now.

Across the country, voters are pinning their hopes on no party achieving a majority, leaders refusing to form a coalition, and the delicate machinery of government basically having a live cow shoved into it.

Tom Booker of Stevenage said: “May out of power is definitely the key aim, but also everyone else out of power. Keep the reins of power well away from the ******* lot of them.

“All the party leaders would resign, all the parties would collapse, Brexit talks would be put on hold by the EU on compassionate grounds, and maybe in a few years we’d have an election if they’d found candidates that weren’t cocks.

“Yep, an absolute ******* six-way car crash followed by total paralysis. That’s the dream right now."

Third terrorist arrested in Italy on his way to Syria but still able to return to UK

Yet there will still be useful idiots holding up #RefugeesWelcome placards

Did the third terrorist arrive in the UK to seek asylum?

This is Cameron's commitment in December 2015, which clearly references May.

As part of this I can announce today that we will establish a comprehensive review to root out any remaining funding of extremism within the UK.

This will examine specifically the nature, scale and origin of the funding of Islamist extremist activity in the UK including any overseas sources.

And it will report to myself and My Rt Hon Friend the Home Secretary next spring.
Now the Home Office is suggesting it may never be published.

To give Corbyn credit, he has said:

Yes, we do need to have some difficult conversations, starting with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states that have funded and fuelled extremist ideology.

It is no good Theresa May suppressing a report into the foreign funding of extremist groups. We have to get serious about cutting off the funding to these terror networks, including Isis here and in the Middle East.
Corbyn has not clarified whether he will take tea with the Saudis and other Gulf states. May, however, is unambiguous about the Saudis:

a vital partner for the UK, particularly on counter-terrorism

Who knows but how can we rest assured that some those bearded "children" from Calais haven't slipped through the net to commit future atrocities?

Anyone who has read the article you link to would know he appears to be an Italian citizen, so refugees are something of a diversion. The relevant point is that he had been arrested going as an Italian citizen to Syria, but was subsequently allowed into the UK. All this will need to be pulled apart in the investigation.

One can only guess what's in that report, but it's hardly a giant leap to conclude that it's so embarrassing to the govt and a number of "allies" - notably Saudi Arabia and probably other Gulf states too - that it could never be published in its current form.

Unless the government takes terrorism seriously, in which case it must be published so that the problems can be addressed.

He was born in Morocco, so almost certainly NOT a refugee at any point. Once he had Italian citizenship he was free to travel and live within the EU. The Italians say they told the UK authorities he had tried to go to Syria, so someone in the security services has some awkward questions to answer.

Saudi is not one homogenous state. It has radicals and moderates. Is it not the case that the moderates rule over the radicals, with a fragile enforced stalemate of ideology.
