    Incorrect.
    Correct.
    Correct.

Do taxes on cigarettes bring in enough revenue to cover what smoking costs the government?

We know they bring in about £12 billion in direct tax revenues, although that doesn't count other contributions of the tobacco industry to total tax take (for instance income tax paid by employees).

And the cost side of this equation is even trickier to pin down.

Estimates suggest costs anywhere between £3 billion and £6 billion for NHS treatments in a given year. In the longer term the total cost might be lower, since some of those who die prematurely due to smoking might otherwise have gone on to cost the service even more money due to other health conditions.

Yes, they could go on holiday to Scandinavia and enjoy the clean streets and happy people found there.

Load of crap. Stick to music - thats what glasto is about.

The political stuff does my chunk in. The trident statue is just crap.
A lot of the people in the crowd are young kids who believe any old tosh. (Saying that my mrs is a nurse and a lot of her colleagues voted labour because they were convinced they'd get a massive pay rise - from labours magic money tree I guess).

Left my stuff in a locker tent run by CND. They asked me if I wanted to join. I said no thanks. So they asked why. I said I didn't agree with their stance. So the guy kicked right off about how stupid I was. Feck me mate all I want to do is store my beer here fella!

A few years ago some fella was going to refuse to let me use the "wateraid" sponsored toliet because I didnt fancy signing their petition. Seemed a bit pointless a petition of names where people had been coerced into agreeing to something just because they wanted a tulipe. Hardly democracy that.

I say we make Animal Farm compulsory reading in all secondary schools before the next GE or we will all be going to hell in a handcart!!

Isnt the fact that the DUP votes were bought by the tories proof that said money tree exists?

I do not think what has happened to these people is funny.

But where are your wringing hand socialist now when it is time to knuckle down to some work?

It was fine to use the festival as a spring board for your political ambitions but when it comes down to earth and the fun has moved on - where the fook are you now?

It is that hypocrisy which is the problem with Corbynistas.
