    Exactly. Control of our borders.

Even the liberal and progressive Canada has a points based immigration system.

It was a friendly joke. Never understood why anyone would be upset out such control.

Indeed and that is in spite of the fact that EU net migration is non-existent since Brexit.

It seems that the Leave voters were sold a pup.

          I'm alright Jack

It's dropped by 50K-ish even before negotiations started.

Very poor trolling by your standards.

That's good to know, suffice to say the Brexit vote means a Corbyn government is inevitable.

              enjoy.....

Nah - so in 5 years time when next GE comes around what will have happened

                1) Brexit will be 3 years in the past (at least)
                2) The UK economy will not have tanked.
                3) Orwell's Animal Farm will have got back on the GCSE curriculum and people will understand that 'For the many, not the few' can also be written as 'All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others'
                4) The students who voted labour will now have jobs and be voting tory.
                5) The reduction in immigration will lead to a reduction in labour voters

                Anything I have missed?

Yeah - EU nationals can't vote in General Elections. And Indians tend to be conservative....

That last bit was about someone on here saying that labour let loads of immigrants in and then get them all to vote labour by giving them free stuff - not sure how true that is but....
